Our History

In January, 2004 Pastor Fawn Alexander, and Fulfilling
God's Assignments Ministries, established The Light Homeless
Shelter to address the problem of homelessness in Winder.

Since renamed "The Light Community Outreach and Resource Center," the organization is the only emergency shelter in the city of Winder, and the only one in Barrow County that provides for single adult men, women, and families.
